I’d like to say we’re maturer now, But with topless Abba dancing I don’t think I can somehow! More responsible we are though, that’s for sure. More fulfilled and wiser, yet still ambitious for more. You’ve an evident flair for branding and ads, And can easily identify marketing fads. Your communication skills are of the finest degree, Which is why you became Account Director so quickly. But more than just being an advertising star, You’re a superb mother, wife and friend – you clever multi-tasking Char! We all adore you for your special ways, Your unending thoughtfulness never ceases to amaze. You’re never afraid to speak your mind, And in attitude to life it’s always positivity you find. You’re such a fast thinker and oh so witty, And to top it all off, you’re stunningly pretty. I can’t thank you enough for your friendship so true, Why it’s almost twenty years of me and you. That’s two decades of Charlotte and Diana, the pair, And still a lifetime more adventure and laughter to share. Good times to be had with our offspring in tow, Ensuring our families in happy unison will grow. Congratulations on Lily, your precious little treasure, On your perfect Ed, and embracing life with utter pleasure.
